Mike was such a kind and gentle soul, always willing to help others and always with a smile on his face. He was an integral part of A&C and he will be sorely missed. I shall remember him for his red and blue striped hat, his willingness to umpire for me every week for two seasons when I captained the Ladies 2s, and his umpiring catch phrase "play on" as he waved his arms.
